SIRRA, Parallel Shed's new Waterford based project, will be a film created in its totality within a three month period. It will combine the work of teams of writers, photographers and musicians into a film experience of a new kind.
The writers have weaved the creative path of the journey with a story editor having moulded it into a finished story-line. This is now in the hands of three photographers who are in the process of capturing the story in still shots, out of which the film will be pieced together to be projected onto a large screen. The SIRRA orchestra, which consists of over 30 musicians, working with the musical director will produce an original score to be performed by the orchestra at the screening event. Your support will cover venue hire, publicity costs, transport and travel costs. Work is well under-way to see this exciting project come to fruition. The event will take place in a site-specific venue in Waterford city for three nights, 17th, 18th and 19th of November 2011.
Your support, which will be necessary to realise this project, is much needed and greatly appreciated.
